    Biosketch

    Dr. Mansour is an Assistant Professor of Urology at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He completed his residency at Mansoura Urology and Nephrology Center; a leading Urological institute and then completed his advanced fellowship training at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and University of Miami, Millers School of Medicine.

    Dr. Mansour is an experienced endourologist, he specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic /robotic surgery, management of complex stone disease (including percutaneous removal of kidney stones), and advanced Laser prostate surgery.  

    Dr. Mansour also completed a Society of Urologic Oncology accredited fellowship, as such he has particular expertise in adoption of minimally invasive (robotics/laparoscopy) in addition to open surgical approaches for treating patients with kidney, prostate and bladder cancers. Dr. Mansour has special research interests in bladder cancer and different techniques of urinary diversion

    Clinical

    Dr. Mansour's clinical interests include: laparoscopic and robotic urologic oncology, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, adrenal cancer, prostate cancer, stone disease, BPH, Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP).

    Research

    Dr. Mansour's research interest include: integration of minimally invasive approaches in Urologic Oncology; development of surgical tools and techniques for minimally invasive surgery; National Cancer Database outcome analysis; identification of genomic and epigenomic predictors of chemoresistance in muscle-invasive bladder cancer.
