The Department of Urology at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is recruiting Physician Assistant with excellent clinical skills for this current academic year. We have a full-time position available. The ideal physician assistant candidate for our position will have three years of urologic experience, however physician assistant's with less or little experience will be considered based on their desire to learn and motivation to be a part of fast-paced, high quality urologic team. Responsibilities include providing consultative services, direct patient care, pre/post-operative work-up and patient education. Federal and industiy sponsored clinical trials and programs of basic research in various areas of Urologic Oncology, Female Urology and Stone disease are actively unde1way. The Urology faculty are actively involved in teaching and hands-on patient care and seek to impart skills in managing these patients to the incwnbent to increase the ability to provide compassionate, exceptional quality clinical care.

Academic Urology Opportunity

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Department of Urology seeks a full-time faculty member with specialty training in female urology/neurourology/voiding dysfunction. The candidate will have clinical and research interests in female pelvic disorders, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and voiding dysfunction. This position offers a unique opportunity to become an important part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary effort. Academic aspects include participating in training of urology residents, medical students and fellows as well as the opportunity to conduct research and collaborate with NIH funded investigators.

Post-Doctoral Fellow, Department of Urology – M2511-0038

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory for the Department of Urology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. The candidate should be a highly-motivated and creative individual who has completed or will complete Ph.D. training in a discipline related to the life sciences. Research in the laboratory is focused on bladder cancer strategies using cancer immune techniques. Researchers with a background in cancer immunology and/or flow cytometry will be highly considered.

The selected applicant is expected to conduct experiments, present research at meetings and publish data in high-quality scientific journals. Assistant Professor/Clinical – Internist/Medicine – M2511-0019

The Department of Urology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is seeking a full-time faculty Internal Medicine trained physician with an interest in urology, at the level of Assistant Professor/Clinical to join an active, growing clinical and multidisciplinary program. The incumbent will have graduated from an ACGME accredited training program and be board certified or eligible IM. Due to increasing patient demand for our services, we are expanding our territory and are looking for an exceptional internist with an interest in urology to join our staff. The successful applicant should be qualified to perform all aspects of endourology, including surgical and medical management of stone disease. Laparoscopic skills are desirable. The incumbent will have graduated from an ACGME accredited Urology training program and have an interest in academic Urology and well-rounded experience in clinical Urology. The successful applicant is expected to contribute to teaching medical students and residents. Evidence of scholarly research is desirable.
