Assistant Professor/Research

The Department of Urology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is seeking a PhD faculty interested and experienced in the area of cellular, molecular, and genetic approaches to the study of oncology or other areas of urology. Success in research, evidenced in publications and extramural support, would be and asset. In addition, the ideal candidate would have a record of multidisciplinary interaction and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Assistant or Associate Professor – Urology Endourology - M2511-0034

The Department of Urology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is seeking a faculty urologist with interest in endourology at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor to join an active, growing clinical and multidisciplinary program. The successful applicant should be qualified to perform all aspects of endourology, including surgical and medical management of stone disease. Laparoscopic skills are desirable. The incumbent will have graduated from an ACGME accredited Urology training program and have an interest in academic Urology and well-rounded experience in clinical Urology. The successful applicant is expected to contribute to teaching medical students and residents. Evidence of scholarly research is desirable.

The individual appointed to this position will have clinical and surgical responsibilities and the opportunity to collaborate with both clinical and basic scientists in the design, management and research programs in the Department of Urology, with opportunity for scientific leadership and publication. The Department of Urology has established an academic program of excellence at the University and actively collaborates with clinicians and scientist throughout the world. Assistant or Associate Professor of Urology Pediatric Urology - M2511-0013

The Department of Urology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is seeking a faculty pediatric urologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor to join an active, growing clinical and multidisciplinary Urology Program. The incumbent will have graduated from an ACGME accredited Urology training program and Pediatric Fellowship program and have an interest in academic Urology and well-rounded experience in clinical Urology. Incumbents for the position will be considered immediately or begin upon completion of Fellowship training.

ACADEMIC UROLOGY OPPORTUNITY-M2511-0023

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Department of Urology seeks a full-time faculty member with specialty training in female urology/neurourology /voiding dysfunction. The candidate will have clinical and research interests in female pelvic disorders, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and voiding dysfunction. This position offers a unique opportunity to become an important part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary effort. Academic aspects include participating in training of urology residents, medical students and fellows as well as the opportunity to conduct research and collaborate with NIH funded investigators.
